oVERVIEW

This project is by far my most ambitious. Unfortunately, I can't reveal too much as it is still unannounced and in development. However, I have highlighted some key features below.

Combat Design

The combat is a combination of chaotic bullet-hell/Run & Gun gameplay mixed with tactical top-down shooter elements. The player can choose between a variety of different equipment & abilities that can be combined in different ways.

Here is a showcase of combat in the current demo build featuring a few of the different weapons & enemy types...

Weather & Clock System

  • Weather VFX particle system with rain & wind effects

  • material effects for wetness & raindrops

  • Variable wind speed & direction

  • Changes to lighting color depending on weather type

  • Day/Night cycle with street lights

Shaders & Post Process

Part of the game's unique look comes from the material, lighting & post-process setup.
